Wedding Trip to Garden Valley

Between starting school again, both Brett and I working, girls going to daycare full time, and everyone getting adjusted with the “new” old routine we took a trip to Garden Valley, Idaho for a family friends wedding.  It was such a beautiful place!!!!  The wedding was on the property of a cabin they rented and had the most beautiful backgrounds and places for the kids to play and me to take a few photos.  We also were able to take our vintage camper out for her true maiden voyage, the first trip only Brett slept in it due to renovation.camper viewOur camper, in progress still, and the view from the back window.  It was so pretty, and really nice to wake up to such a beautiful spot.  I think another trip with friends is in order and maybe a family photo shoot or two…  Frannie???…

Here is the beautiful couple during their ceremony and just after, Congratulations David and Valerie Jones and their families!!!!

Haddie found some dandelions in the grass and wanted to pick them.  I showed her how she could blow on them and make the little pieces fly, OH MY GOSH she was in love.  She started with one or two then decided to gather an entire hand full and share with sissy…you will see what happened.

Paisley was blowing on the dandelion just like big sister, then the flower got closer and closer to her mouth.  And just like a 1 year old would do it ended up in her mouth.  The last picture was Haddies reaction face after Paisley ate the flower.

dad me brettKeeping the girls in the area was difficult due to the amount of space there was on the property so Brett and I decided to walk down on a path along the river with the girls so they could do some exploring and the most beautiful lighting was down there.  I feel like I got some pretty great shots of the girls down there, check them out…

Peplum top and colored jeans

IMG_4741

White tank peplum top is from The Nest On Main, don’t know if they still have it but they have similar ones on sale.  Coral skinny jeans are from American Eagle.  Nude flats are from Dillards and are Cole Haan brand.  I just felt like I needed a little something more so I added a braided brown belt.

Polka Dot Chiffon Maxi Skirt

polka dot skirtPink V-neck t shirt I got from Groopdealz, which is an online daily site for lots of sweet things at really great prices.  The polka dot chiffon maxi skirt was one of the first things I had to have once I saw it on Pinterest.  But when I found out how much it cost, $95, I just couldn’t do it.  Well my friend turned me onto Amazon when I went to visit so I just checked if I could find a similar one for less. So I did, here is the link… skirt.  And I added the brown belt to finish it off, but also help hold up the skirt because it is really long and I tend to step on it.

Bike Shirt and Boat Shoes

bike shirtThis is my oldest daughter posing with me for the outfit photo.  She has just started to like taking photos with me, hope it keeps up.  Green bike shirt from Fred Meyers (I know who knew you could find something cute there…sometimes you get lucky).  Lime\neon yellow green cardigan from Bohme, a while ago so they might not have it anymore.  They are the best place to get some seriously cute clothes.  Skinny jeans are from Bohme too.  Sperry lace detailed boat shoes finish it off from Journey’s for Kids… Yes I said kids.  I can wear kids shoes but they actually have a lot of “kids” sizes that fit average women’s size shoes.

Navy stripe dress

Navy and white stripe dress, Masion Jules on clearance at Macy’s.  Mint blue cardigan from Boheme.  Yellow belt from Groopdealz.  Yellow shoes on clearance from Kohl’s. For my hair I just twisted the sides towards the right side of my head rubber banded it then twisted the rest of the hair into a “bun” and bobby pinned to stay.
